Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.

On the first day of the safari, you will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast, the guide will brief you about the safari ahead as you embark on a 3- to 4-hour trip to Lake Nakuru National Park. When you arrive at the park, you will check into your lodge, eat lunch, and proceed with afternoon game drive .

Lake Nakuru National Park is a bird viewing heaven, with numerous pink-colored flamingos observed along its shoreline. On the game drive, you will witness not just flamingos, but also many other creatures that dwell in the park, including white rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffes. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge, have supper, and spend overnight.

Day 2 Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara.

On the second day of the safari, you will wake up early for breakfast, check out of your accommodation, and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is the world’s eighth wonder for witnessing the great wildebeest migration, and it is also home to various wildlife like the lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, and many more.

It is a 6-hour drive from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve, so you will arrive in the park late afternoon, have lunch along the way, and then go on an evening/night game drive where you will see many animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many more. After the journey, you will arrive at your lodge, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Explore Masai Mara National Reserve.

On the third day of the safari, you will spend the entire day visiting the plains of Masai Mara National Park, admiring the beauty and animals. On this day, you will wake up early for breakfast before driving to the park for a full day game drive. You will have full day morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch in between the game drives.

After the morning game drive, you will have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive where you will view various creatures such as buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards, and many more. This goes on until evening where you will return to your lodge, have supper, and spend the night.

Day 4 Departure

On the fourth and final day of the safari, you will wake up early for breakfast, check out of your accommodation, and travel to the rear for an early morning game drive. Many animals may be seen in the park’s grassy plains. After the game drive, you will exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Along the way, you will stop for lunch in Narok town, and when you arrive in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at either your hotel or the airport for departure.
