Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include all Big 5 species?
Yes. Lion: Queen Elizabeth (Ishasha) and Murchison Falls. Elephant: both parks. Buffalo: all parks. Rhino: Ziwa Sanctuary (on foot). Leopard: present in all parks — sightings possible but not guaranteed (leopard never is). This is the only Uganda package that gives you a genuine shot at all five in one circuit.
Can I add gorilla trekking?
Yes — extending by 2 days (adding Bwindi between Queen Elizabeth and Kibale) and adding a gorilla permit ($800pp) gives you the complete Uganda primate + wildlife circuit. This is essentially our Pearl of Africa Package (PKG-005). Contact us and we'll build it for you.
How is the driving managed over 7 days?
No day exceeds 6 hours of driving. The circuit is designed with driving done in transit periods (mornings or after wildlife activities). Your private vehicle has comfortable seating and roof hatches. The scenery between parks — Rwenzori Mountains, crater lakes, Rift Valley — means the drives themselves are enjoyable.
